Civic Ventures, a national think tank awarded Mark Goldsmith, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Getting Out and Staying Out, the 2008 Purpose Prize. Based in New York City, Getting Out and Staying Out, also known as GOSO, works with justice-involved young men, ages 16 to 24, to help them gain employment and further their education.
