GOSO is thrilled to be included among the Community Network of NBA Voices, the NBA’s initiative to address social injustice, promote inclusion, uplift voices and bridge divides in our communities. We’re honored to have NBA Voices’ support in GOSO’s ongoing work to help young men in NYC avoid involvement in the criminal justice system and reshape their futures. Hoops Against Violence, held in November 2017 and cohosted by Stand Against Violence East Harlem (SAVE Cure Violence), was a spirited event that featured NBA Cares Ambassador Felipe Lopez, our clients, and community members.
We’re proud to be among fellow Community Network organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club of American, the Vera Institute of Justice, and the Youth Empowerment Project. Building on the launch of NBA Voices, we look forward to our continued work with the NBA.
