Makeba Reece, Outreach Worker
Makeba is an Outreach Worker in our SAVE program and began working with SAVE as a Social Distancing Diplomat helping to provide PPE to the community. She is currently working towards her certification in the School Of Labor and Urban Studies’ Credible Messenger program.
She has worked as a lead mentor of the Makeba Project with Friends of Island Academy, helping mothers re-enter their communities. She assists her church, Soul Saving Station, to provide hot meals to people in the community. She has also worked as a mentor with the Living Redemption Youth Opportunity Hub in Harlem, where she started Sisters Saving Souls.
