Vice President of Community Programs, Getting Out and Staying Out
Getting Out and Staying Out is a nonprofit that helps formerly incarcerated people reenter the community and avoid returning to the criminal justice system. Yenia Vasquez supervises the organization’s clinical, education, reentry and career programs, which are aimed at helping clients create stable futures for themselves. Vasquez has implemented grant-funded initiatives and advanced restorative justice and trauma-informed practices in her programs. Previously, Vasquez worked at Acacia Network, a Latino-led social services nonprofit, for 11 years.
