  • Interview Skills Workshop 2

    This workshop provides an opportunity for additional role-playing and interview rehearsal. Each participant engages in a mock interview to practice the skills he has learned in Intro to Interview Skills. He also learns to research his prospective employer prior to his interview, formulate questions for his interviewer, and follow up his interview with phone calls and emails.

  • Career Exploration 1

    In this seminar, we encourage participants to think freely and creatively about their futures and identify their strengths, talents and passions. With the help of the facilitator, group members develop a list individual career tracks that could potentially lead to fulfilling and realistic employment goals. By the end of the seminar, each participant has three career options that he will research in preparation for Career Exploration II.

  • Resume Writing Workshop

    In this seminar, participants discuss the design, structure, and content of an effective resume, and practice using their resumes in an interview setting. We then ask all workshop participants to take a few moments to review their resumes and practice speaking about a job experience to the group. This seminar also includes an introduction to online professional networking websites like LinkedIn, and a section on responsible social media use.
