Emily oversees GOSO’s volunteer programs and communications strategy, including social media. Emily is a graduate of New York University, where she received her B.A. in Sociology and French. One course in particular on the sociology of inequality and power in modern society initiated her interest in criminal justice reform. During her studies, she was also able to spend a semester abroad in Accra, Ghana where she interned and worked for a non-profit called the African Women’s Development Fund. Before joining GOSO, she worked in graduate admissions and marketing at her alma mater, NYU.
