Debbie Li, MPA, Chief Financial and Operations Manager
As DFO, Debbie is a member of the GOSO’s senior leadership team. She oversees management and strategic advancement of the organization’s financial and operational infrastructure, by providing direction to ensure effective and efficient processes in accounting, budget development, financial reporting, forecasting, contract management, HR, IT, and facilities. She also pilots GOSO’s measurements and outcomes initiatives through monitoring and evaluating program data and project deliverables. Debbie graduated from Rutgers University with a BS in Accounting and a BA in Economics. In addition, Debbie holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Rutgers University School of Public Affairs & Administration. While in graduate school, Debbie was awarded the Pi Alpha Alpha Honor for her outstanding academic achievement and earned a Certificate in Nonprofit Management. In her free time, Debbie helps various local and international nonprofits in outreach, fundraising, financial management, and strategic planning. She has served on the board of Visual AIDS and is actively involved in multiple taskforce committees at Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).
